When we first created Thunderstorm Inside My Head, our goal was simple — to help families, teachers, and carers understand what it feels like to experience a seizure, through the eyes of a child.

We’re proud (and a little emotional!) to see how far our little book has already travelled:

  • Topview Healthcare — have purchased copies for their staff training, helping carers understand and support those living with epilepsy on a more personal, empathetic level.

  • Fountaindale Special Needs School — now has Thunderstorm Inside My Head in their library and staff onboarding packs, ensuring new team members gain valuable insight into how seizures can feel for children in their care.

  • Families in America — we’ve already sent five copies across the Atlantic, showing that the need for understanding and compassion around epilepsy truly knows no borders.

  • Families across the UK — many copies have found their way into loving homes, where parents and children have told us how the story has opened up conversations, reduced fear, and brought comfort.

This is just the beginning of our journey to raise awareness and understanding of epilepsy — one page, one conversation, and one child at a time.

If you’d like to support our mission, or know someone who could benefit from reading Thunderstorm Inside My Head, you can find the book here: https://www.macdesign.online/product-page/thunderstorm-inside-my-head

Thank you so much from us :)
