There’s something special about taking a moment in a cosy café, laptop open, coffee in hand, and realising… it’s done.

After months of writing, sketching, editing, and late-night tweaking, My Super Computer &

ree

the Storms is officially finished!

This new book continues the journey we began with Thunderstorm Inside My Head — but this time, it’s inspired by our daughter’s real-life experience with her Vagal Nerve Stimulator (VNS), or as we like to call it, her Super Computer.

It’s a story told through a child’s eyes, helping families, teachers, and carers understand how a VNS works — how it sends little “whispers” to help calm the electrical storms inside the brain. The book also includes gentle science pages for parents and educators, explaining the surgery, hospital visits, and aftercare in clear, reassuring language.

I’m beyond excited to share that the book is now with two very kind people who offered to proofread it — one of them being Rachel from Sam’s Superheroes Charity, who has supported our work since Thunderstorm Inside My Head. Their feedback means the world and helps us make sure every page reads perfectly before it heads to print.

I’m so proud of how this one has come together — it’s heartfelt, educational, and full of hope. This book is for every family walking their own epilepsy journey, and for every child with their own Super Computer quietly helping them stay strong through the storms.

Stay tuned — launch news coming soon!
